Super Easy Steps:

1.    Purchase our Online Course

2.    Order the PTDE Packet

• Order the PTDE packet from TDLR 

3.    Get your Permit after completing SIX (6) hours

• After completing your first 6 hours, take the permit test in our course 
• Electronic Certificate of Completion emailed to you

4.    Take your certificate to DPS to take a vision test and get your permit.

• Link to DPS for all documents needed

5.    Complete the Online Course  

6.    Purchase a Parent Taught Curriculum to complete your driving hours  (or transfer to an in-person driving school)

7.    Log your driving hours

• Complete your 30-hour driving log
• Complete 14 hours of driving with a parent or driving school

8.    Take the ITTD 2-hour course
