Adult Education Services in the Brazos Valley
The ESC Region 6 Adult Education Department, funded by the Texas Workforce Commission, proudly provides Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) services throughout the Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG) region.
We offer free and flexible classes to help adults gain the skills and confidence they need to succeed in education, work, and life.
Counties Served
ESC Region 6 provides direct instruction and support to learners across Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Robertson, and Washington counties.
Programs and Services
Learners in the BVCOG area can access a variety of programs, including:
- Adult Basic Education (ABE) – Build foundational reading, writing, and math skills
- English as a Second Language (ESL) – Learn or improve English communication skills
- High School Equivalency (HSE/GED) Prep – Prepare for and earn your GED certificate
- Integrated Education and Training (IET) – Combine academics with workforce skills
