Dedicated to Serve

Behavior and Autism Support and Services

Helping support districts with autism, behavior, and emotional needs is our passion. Staff provides on-site assistance in program development, crisis intervention procedures, assessment issues, and transition from alternative settings. Regional training is provided for staff development in the areas of behavior management plans, legal issues, positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS), MTSS, restorative discipline, trauma-based support, equity practices, and non-violent crisis intervention (CPI). We are available to visit with you regarding your needs through our Behavior and Autism Technical Assistance, and together design how to best serve our students/staff.

Tiered Interventions Using Evidence-Based Research (TIER) is a project funded by the Texas Education Agency. The goal is to provide educators, caregivers, and other educational stakeholders with the knowledge and materials to ensure appropriate implementation of multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) in every school across Texas.

A series of modules focus on different components of MTSS. Within each module, you’ll find more specific pathways. A pathway includes a presentation with handouts. For more information or to participate in a pathway training, visit the Certified TIER Trainers page to find your region's certified trainers.  For more information, contact: TIER@meadowscenter.org.
