Educator Certification

Region 6 Education Service Center provides several certification programs for individuals as well as certification services for school districts.

Service Areas:

  • Teacher Preparation and Certification Program (TPCP)
  • Principal Preparation and Certification Program (PPCP)
  • Superintendent Preparation and Certification Program (SPCP)
  • Certification Technical Assistance (Certification Co-op)

Complaint Procedures

If you believe you have a complaint against a Region 6 educator preparation program, please contact the educator certification coordinator. Complaints will be heard and resolved informally, if possible.

If the complaint is not resolved at the program level, you may file a formal complaint with Region 6 Education Service Center. Complaints at this level must follow Region 6 policy requirements.

If a complaint is not resolved at the Region 6 Education Service Center, you may file a complaint with the Texas Education Agency. Please see the TEA complaint website for more information.
