Congratulations to the Region 6 Superintendent of the Year

Mr. Keith Smith, Superintendent of Madisonville CISD!

Mr. Smith has been the Superintendent of Madisonville CISD, a mid-size district, for 15 years. He has spent his entire public education career in MCISD from 1991 to – present.

Among other highlights of his tenure in MCISD, an “A” rating was earned from the last accountability cycle in 2018-19.

MCISD Board of Trustees President, Greg McBee, stated: “For 30 years, Mr. Smith has been an outstanding servant to our students, staff, and community, He has served our district in various capacities over this time, including fifteen years as Superintendent.”
