Professional development is provided to assist central office administrators develop into dynamic instructional leaders who set clear expectations, provide support for learning, monitor implementation of the curriculum and involve faculty and other stakeholders in designing and continually refining powerful professional learning.
Region 6 ESC often provides opportunities designed for central office and campus administrators to work together as a team. These PD trainings provide information on current topics of interest and best practices, often highlighting successful programs. Opportunities for participation in professional organizations are also provided.

Principals must remain on the forefront of learning. The leadership department provides an array of opportunities for principals to gain an understanding in walk-through training, increased expectations, curriculum implementation, evaluation, data, legal issues and accountability. Our goal is to support principals in raising student achievement.
