Carl Perkins Shared Services Arrangement

The United States Department of Education provides federal funds through the Texas Education Agency to districts who qualify to apply for funding to provide assistance to improve district Career and Technical Education programs to help students, including special population students, be successful and acquire job skills as well as licenses/certifications in the student chosen career pathways.

Districts who apply to be in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Consoritum have selected the ESC Region 6 to be the fiscal agent and provider for professional development and program technical assistance in developing and implementing quality CTE programs that meet all state and federal requirements.
