Yes, you really do teach language through your content area! Come and experience the way the ELPS (English Language Proficiency Standards) will help you reach your students. Learn how to linguistically accommodate your instruction for English Language Learners (ELLs) in order to build and develop language producing academically successful students. Materials include a book resource specific to each content area that includes a framework and helpful tools to make instruction dynamic and relevant to the students English proficiency level. Each session will be tailored to the content areas of social studies, science, mathematics and language arts.
