The purpose of ESC VI Grant Services is to assist districts in securing grant funding. Grant Services provided are:
• Notification of current grants available to the superintendent and any designated district grant specialist
• Assistance with the completion of grant applications by any district personnel that the superintendent designates
• Downloads of electronic applications, information, RFA, etc., when available
• Workshop(s) on grant applications
• TETN broadcasts concerning grant applications, with provisions to transmit to distance learning centers
• On-site visits by ESC VI personnel to campuses and/or grant writing teams to assist with the grant applications
• Assisting districts with data, references, demographic information, and expertise necessary to complete an application
• Inclusion of participating districts into any ESC VI grant, or consortium grant, that the district demographic data warrants
• Research on specific requests for grants concerning local district needs
• An ESC VI web site for Grant Services to include demographic sources and grant opportunities
