The purpose of the Title I, Part A Contracted Fee Service is to assist districts with program planning, budgetary issues, and program compliance for the following federal funds sources: Title I, Part A; Title I, Part D, Subpart 2; Title II, Part A - Teacher and Principal Training and Recruitment Fund (TPTR); Title VI, Part B, Subpart 2-Rural and Low Income School Program (RLIS).
Services under this agreement include:
Activities associated with the consolidated SAS application include:
- Application planning and preparation
- Planning and preparation of amendments
- Application and amendment negotiations with TEA
- Preparation and submission of the end of year program compliance reports
Technical Assistance in, but not limited to:
- Program planning and program requirements
- Budget planning
- Program compliance assistance with Performance Based Monitoring and Intervention System
- Dissemination of program information and TEA updates
- Comparability of services
- Highly Qualified Teacher and paraprofessional information and assistance with reports
- Homeless Education
- Private Non-Profit Schools
- Parent Involvement
- Program Validations
- Federal Program Directors Meetings
- Program Audits from TEA
