The School Readiness Integration Specialist coordinates the development and implementation of cohesive, cost-effective School Readiness Integration (SRI) models that bring together school districts, child care providers, and Head Start programs to prepare PK children for transition into school. In addition to assisting schools in establishing integration models, the SRI specialist will:

• Provide technical assistance, guidance, and implementation assistance for districts
• Provide training, support, and assistance
• Assist districts, child care providers, and Head Start programs interested in applying for available early childhood grants
• Provide general support, professional development, mentoring, and information for early childhood educators PK-2nd grade
