The School Transformation team offers Discovery Education basic streaming video services. Region 6 ESC, in partnership with Region 11 ESC, has exclusive rights to offer this service at the best possible price. Region 6 ESC districts, charter schools, and private schools are eligible to receive streaming video services through Region 6 ESC. The subscription to Discovery Education streaming video™ is renewable annually.

Streaming video administrator training is required for new districts and is provided free each fall at Region 6 ESC. Additional trainings require the standard on-site training pricing.

Discovery Education offers PLUS Media Pack, DE Science—Elementary, DE Science—Middle School, and DE Health in addition to the basic streaming video service.

Region 6 ESC provides each district the opportunity to purchase an annual subscription to Discovery Education's streaming video service economically by participating in a statewide collaborative. This digital library provides over 5500 video titles, over 15,000 video clips, and thousands of printable resources to the user's desktop via video download and/or streaming 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Recent scientific research results show improved student achievement in math, social studies, and science.  

Discovery Education offers other digital resources including new, electronic science textbooks/instructional materials for Texas. Call for information.
