General assistance is available to textbook coordinators and districts, ten months prior to adoption of textbooks. Meetings for local textbook coordinators are held twice a year, depending on information from TEA and specific adoption cycles. New textbook coordinator training is held during the fall Textbook Coordinators' Meeting. If necessary, a Textbook Fair will be held in January to examine textbooks in the adoption.
