The TETN videoconferencing system enables live, interactive audio/video communication between two or more locations. TETN promotes this visual opportunity by bringing people “face to face” in live interactive sessions over long distance. Members of a meeting/training may be located at any of the 20 Education Service Centers throughout Texas, the Texas Education Agency, and several universities. Masters classes are held after hours with connections to several universities. The purpose of TETN is to provide a cost effective and time efficient way to conduct training sessions and meetings for small to medium size groups, eliminating the need to incur travel costs and time loss in travel. TETN conferences are now available to school districts in the Region 6 ESC Distance Learning Program when scheduled by the host of a conference.
